How to discover the reason why the SMS were not sent successfully

In the CRM SMS Manager app users could send a SMS to a phone number or to multiple phone numbers. There could be some reasons why a SMS wasn't sent correctly to one or multiple phone numbers. The app saves the encountered errors and some of them could be seen even in the Twilio accounts.

 To get the errors saved in the CRM SMS Manager:

  • Go to the SMS Manager for Twilio.
  • Click on the SMS menu item and on the wanted SMS ID.
  • In the week calendar from the SMS page you will see the SMS record in the sent date. Click on it time.
  • Will be showed a modal with all phone numbers were was sent the SMS.
  • Green icon means sent successfully. Red means the SMS wasn't sent.
  • Below the red icon you will see a text message with the error.

To get the errors and details about a sent SMS in the Twilio account:

  • Sign In your Twilio account.
  • Click on Monitor tab.
  • Click on the Messaging menu item.
  • You will see the list with all sent SMS which you could filter.

It's important to know where are located the errors because in this way the user will understand what should do. Some errors won't be saved in the Twilio account, but will be saved only in the CRM SMS Manager app.
